Your Food Looks Funny is a podcast to help picky eaters understand the foods they refuse to eat. Since debuting in July 2020, this food podcast has 1200+ downloads. Your Food Looks Funny helps picky eaters take a step towards a new exciting meal by serving it with a side of sarcasm. The host, Marcus T, had a hard time as a picky child. After becoming a chef and expanding his pallet, he was blessed with a wife who refuses to eat anything new. Along with an occasional guest, Marcus T talks through why he and others have the eating habits that plague a lot of us at some point.
The Host.
Marcus did not always have the passion for cooking. He wanted to be an inventor. Inventing things in the kitchen became a necessity when his dad wanted to starve him as a teenager(not really). Making up new foods out of survival led him to culinary school in Pittsburgh, PA. After graduating and doing an externship at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC he went on to work for Marriott hotels. Most recently as the Sous Chef at the Metro Center Marriott in DC. The different view he has on food and the sarcastic environment that groomed him has culminated in “Your Food Looks Funny” being his latest food invention.
